Racks

Luggage racks come in various shapes and sizes. Solo racks or racks designed to be fitted behind solo seats tend to be the biggest and since they rest on top of the fender, they can usually take more weight. Racks fitted behind a pillion or 2-up seat are smaller and do not have as large a load carrying capacity. Finally, you can choose a luggage rack that fits onto your passenger sissybar – these are usually manufacturer specific so they match the mounting holes on the backrest. It is worth saying that many luggage racks unless they rest on the mudguard for support, are limited to around 5kg (10lbs) in recommended carrying weight.

Our preferred suppliers of luggage racks are Motherwell Products, Highway Hawk, Khrome Werks, Kuryakyn and Fehling, as well as own brands made by Zodiac, Custom Chrome and Drag Specialities. Chrome and black finishes available. For selected tourers such as the Honda Gold Wing, racks can be supplied that sit behind the rider seat and allow bigger trunk, roll top and rack bags to be secured.
